How is the real estate market for Woodbury? What is the estimated price for a condo that has a downstairs unit that is not connected to an upstairs loft, but has 1.5 bathrooms? Is it worth it to purchase the property for a cheaper price and then add a staircase to the upper loft? Thank you!

It is a great time to be a buyer in Woodbury, but a more challenging time for sellers. There are currently 52 properties for sale in Woodbury, which is not a very big area. The 1 bedroom condos with the upstairs loft are selling for more than a $100,000 less than the 2 bedroom, 1.5 models, so they are a good value. You may face a challenge on the re-sale as the 1 bedroom w/ loft condos are not as popular as the 2 bedroom models with the larger square footage. Adding an internal staircase might help some, but you would still be competing with the larger 2 bedroom units.
